Upward is a fun, reliable, passionate and encouraging sports experience for boys and girls, in K5 through sixth grade. Upward provides first class, organized and detailed sports programming in basketball and cheerleading. Unique aspects of Upward include an evaluation system that promotes equal and competitive teams as well as a substitution system which allows for equal playing time for all participants. Through Upward, children are exposed to quality coaching and sport development. Upward emphasizes character and integrity instead of a “win at all costs” mentality associated with today’s sports world.
Registration & Evaluations
Registration is Currently CLOSED for the 2010-2011 Season. Check back in September 2010.
Practices & Games
Practices for the 2010-2011 Season will begin in November 2010. Practices are scheduled on Monday, Thursday, or Friday--never Wednesday or Sunday. All games will be played on Saturdays. The first games are scheduled in the month of January.
Coaches
Every year we have a great need for Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches. HOW MANY FAMILIES will PBC be able to minister to this year through Upward Sports? It all depends on the tremendous volunteer coaching staff.
