Upward is a fun, reliable, passionate and encouraging sports experience for boys and girls, in K5 through sixth grade. Upward provides first class, organized and detailed sports programming in basketball and cheerleading. Unique aspects of Upward include an evaluation system that promotes equal and competitive teams as well as a substitution system which allows for equal playing time for all participants. Through Upward, children are exposed to quality coaching and sport development. Upward emphasizes character and integrity instead of a “win at all costs” mentality associated with today’s sports world.
Registration & Evaluations
Registration is Currently CLOSED for the 2009-2010 Season. Registration for future seasons takes place between Sept. - Oct.
Practices & Games
Practices for this 2009 - 2010 Season began the week of November 16. Practices are scheduled on Monday, Thursday, or Friday--never Wednesday or Sunday. All games will be played on Saturdays. The first game is scheduled for Saturday, January 9, 2010.
Coaches
Every year we have a great need for Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches. HOW MANY FAMILIES will PBC be able to minister to this year through Upward Sports? It all depends on the tremendous volunteer coaching staff.
