At Philadelphia Baptist Church we value your child's safety and security as much as you do, therefore we offer a secure check in for Preschool Children and a nursery/preschool area for children (Birth - age 5) in our preschool wing just inside the welcome center.
The computer check in/check out system for all Preschool age children (Birth - Kindergarten) is just one of the ways that we provide a safe environment for children. Children who attend PBC either as members or as guests experience loving teachers who prepare lessons that will challenge and involve the children as they dive into God's Word.
Children who are in the lower elementary grades (1st - 2nd) meet on the first floor of the education building on a "Children's Only" wing with a couple of Pre-K and Kindergarten classes.
Children who are in the middle elementary grades (3rd - 4th) must be dropped off and picked up from their age group classes that meet on the second floor of the education building.
Children who are in the older elementary grades (5th - 6th) also meet upstairs in the education building but are not required to be assisted by a parent to attend class. All teachers go through the same background check noted above.
Sunday Services
Teachers and staff will receive children 15 minutes before services begins.

- Video Surveillance of preschool entrance and hallway
- All Teachers, staff, and volunteers go through a screening process that includes a comprehensive background check through the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Department.
