Loving Adults are a picture to children of HOW Jesus cares for them. Serving as teachers, assistant teachers, co-teachers, and substitutes, the church family serves together to bless, encourage, and most of all meet the childhood ministry needs of a growing church.
A great part of the success of a great preschool is the involvement of parents, grandparents, and others including college students career singles who make up the monthly Preschool Rotation helpers. At least one parent in every family with children (Birth - Kindergarten) is required to serve on the Discovery Zone Preschool Sunday School Rotation. The Rotation helpers are normally not responsible for the lesson unless it is an emergency and a teacher is out. All teachers, leaders, workers, and helpers who serve on the rotation are required also to complete a comprehensive background check to be obtained through the rapides parish sheriff's office. The required forms are attached below.
